Mothers Against Drug Deaths

Working with Mothers Against Drug Deaths has been one of the most meaningful and impactful projects of my career. MADD2 is a San Francisco-based coalition of parents who’ve lost children — through addiction, homelessness or death — to the fentanyl plague that’s overwhelmed cities and communities nationally. I teamed up with lead agency Underground Advertising to develop a program, including out-of-home and social media, that has been featured in broadcast, print and online media around the world. To date, our program has generated over $25 million in publicity for MADD2. More importantly, it’s shaken a complacent, complicit city administration, compelling the mayor, DA and police department to take concrete action in shutting down the open air drug markets that serve as a magnet for people from around the country.

Columbus Craft Meats

We developed The Perfect Charcuterie Bite to create brand advantage in a hot new culinary space. I worked with a team that included folks from Columbus, Hormel and Wynne creative to tell the story. This is the brochure.

Alomac Madagascar Aloe

Alomac is a private company with a public mission: To sustainably grow, harvest and market the remarkable Aloe that grows natively in Madagascar in ways that enrich local communities and the island ecosystem. To help bring the brand to market in a powerful and unforgettable manner, we enlisted Madagascar’s biggest aloe fans: The ring-tailed lemurs that the island is famous for.

Sadler’s Smokehouse

Sadler’s Smokehouse is a beloved artisan barbecue brand located in Henderson, Tx. I planned, wrote and designed a social media program that supported the company’s first-ever foray packaged BBQ that folks could pick up at their grocer’s. See more of the program here.
